San Francisco: Day 1
Actually, we arrived Friday night, Aug 4.
Mel’s brother Keith picked us up at the SFO International Terminal (N.Y.C. can really be that foreign from the rest of the country, you know.) Then he took us to In-and-Out for a late-night meal.
MAN! It was so gooood! They got ghetto “uniforms” but great burgers & fries! Unfortunately, it’s the only eat-out meal that I didn’t take a picture of. Sorry people. I failed all of you.
This is how you can take a pix w/ someone who doesn’t want to take it w/ you! Brilliant, Mel. Brilliant!
Alcatraz is right next to Mel’s head. We’ll go there next time. 😉
Our 2nd meal out (“Lunner”—Lunch/Dinner)
Mel was so excited about the food that she actually forgot to take her credit card back after paying!
Check out the good food we got! You can tell that Mel’s starving to dig in though.
All right. Dig in!
You know you’re in a “first world country” when the people are more concerned about the obese pigeons then the hungry ones.
Bubba Gump… May be next time…
Bubba Gump sells shrimp, & Curious George…?
A great shot for a future photography class assignment…
…and another one!
Pier 39: home of the lazy sea lions & wannabe sea lions (seals)
Ghirardeli
Keith’s
And this is how we ended our first day in San Fran!
Looks like you had a good time there for your first day. I had everything that you had on the first day. I love Chowders and Ghiradelli! I’m so glad that Keith got to take you around places. Clever thinking of taking a picture of Grandma’s pictures. However, if you get her to sit on the chair next to the couch…you could still get a side view or get a shot of her not looking at the camera. We did! Keep posting up those pictures!
Looks like you guys really did have LOTS of FUN. NICE PICS. I think you will have a boy too but no matter what, he/she will look as cute as mommy & Daddy…….ekkekeke
hey there… you guys forgot the caption where Mel got scared by the clown in front of Ghirardelli’s. That was priceless!
for all those ice-cream you had, I don’t see Ether gained any.
mel, the photo of your brother eating is funny!
how’s the heat in NY? glad to be back? hehehe.
we’ll get another heat wave this coming week! the lawn is so excited for the burn!
Hey, it was great seeing you (albeit briefly) in brooklyn. Congrats again and I’m very excited to see my 2nd cousin 42 times removed or whatever he/she is technically! (Mom says hi too)
Mel!
It’s da again, the pesky kid. Anyways, just one thing I’ve notice from all your recent wonderful pictures….you have a bigger smile now and it’s showing your teeth; which is great! I guess weird things happen to people when they get married :B
