Big Baby
I guess I’m done complaining for now.. as long as there are no more problems. =)
The doctor did the first injection for me 2 nights ago. It didn’t hurt until after she took the needle out. I’d say it hurts for a good hour and then I’m fine. Ether did the second one for me yesterday, but in the inner thigh. Thank goodness he wasn’t scared and shaking. Then I got my flu shot at Costco also last night. That one was painful – my arm was really sore until this morning. Ah, I’m just a big baby when it comes to shots. I only have to do it 95 more times (maybe more or less, we’ll see).
However I’m getting used to the whole diet thing now. I’ve been having oatmeal almost every morning and lots of veggies. I went shopping last Saturday with my dad and we bought like a whole week’s worth of fresh veggies. I was excited. Yesterday I bought some whole wheat spaghetti and am looking forward to having that soon. =) Ether was a meanie and bought some good snacks for himself last night that I can’t eat. (like Nutella) Nah, I’m just teasing. I want him to gain some weight.
Yeah Mel! you should save all your sugars and fats for Ether and make him eat them b/c he will need them to have lots of energy to help out at nighttime..hehe
I agree with Da and Abbey. Ether needs to gain all that weight for you and he does need the energy. I try to feed La more but he just gains the weight and falls asleep after dinner…oh wait…that’s me. Hehehe.
Yeah, stop being a big baby and just do your injections. You’ll get used to it and I recommend just doing it on the side of your stomach because it’s a lot easier…or if you don’t have any fat there then the inner thigh is good too. I just hate to sit and feel the pain on my leg and rather on my side…if I’m not going to be laying down anytime soon after that.
Well, now you know how I feel and what I went through. At least you don’t have to do it as much as I did. Your baby will thank you for it and so will you in the long run!
