False hope..
Well it’s been over 24 hours since I’ve gotten that shot. My hives have not disappeared. =/ It did seem as though the patches weren’t as swollen and I wasn’t as itchy. But I think the rash has spread a little more on my arms and legs, and even my chest. Right now it’s as itchy as heck. I’m waiting to see whether I should try to get the second half of the injection because I only used half of it.
But onto brighter things, Kaitlyn slept pretty well last night. We tried not to purposely wake her to feed her and she did well. Woke up herself every 3-4 hours and finished her 2 oz of milk. So I got a bit more sleep, which was good. Another highlight of the day is that her umbilical cord finally came off. Now I could give her baths and put onesies on her! (She’s got a million of ’em.) She was kind of a beast a couple of times today but thankfully we had it under control. She was just hungry. I guess sometimes she just gets hungry after like an hour or two. It’s a little unpredictable sometimes how much she eats. Sometimes 1 oz, 2 oz, half an ounce.
happy Valentine’s day to my special little friend, Kaitlyn. And of course to the Ether’s family too (sorry I forgot your last name AGAIN). take care mel. Hope u will get better soon.
